artist spotlight: omıdynamıcs°
omidynamics is an earthbased creator and visual artist exploring sentience and the dynamics of consciousness through introspective art and symbolism.
somewhere around the nexus of human art, design, photography and inner exploration, an intuitive creative process takes form. one that invites the mystery as active co-creator. a dynamic interplay between intricacy and chaos, seen and unseen, past and passing futures. all folding into every moment of creation. making each image, and its making, a gateway to deeper experiences.
one of the beauties of this earthrealm, is that any act can merge the doer with the done. and nowhere is this more prevalent and felt than in the act of creating art. each brushstroke, each letter, each pixel, thinning the veil of true magic.
the thing we are/in lends from itself to create itself. and to produce anything, the opposite is also produced in a conceptual sense. like ripples on either side of one surface, a rubber band’s tension, or pulling a bow. where two seemingly opposite energies can be experienced at once. this unification is key, as it becomes a portal. it is also one of the inspirations behind the symbol reappearing in the art.
anatomy of experience
the symbol is a representation of the anatomy of a moment. any given moment, including this one. made of replications of one perfect circle echoing itself. the vertical circle is the observing, unchanging aspect of the field, the sentient silence. or the experiencer. the reflected horizontal circle is the continuously changing field of the moment. the experienced. on either side of the experiential horizon is mirrored interplay of creative energy. tension of opposites. the dynamics of polarity in all form, weaving all processes we experience as time.
inspired by creation through three decades on earth lived across three continents, change as constance, and direct experiences beyond ordinary perception. where time and change did not seem to enter. the symbolic recreation was initially a handdrawing based on visions in meditative states. in it, all ongoing imaginable processes, all nameable forms – including yours truly – were being experienced as parts of one unified field, moment to moment, by a sentient silence. a sense of I, without an other. perhaps, the I behind all eyes.
vectorizing the handdrawing meant it could now be merged into my other art, drawings and photographs, allowing things to snowball from there. slowly, things grew into other things made of the previous thing. everchanging and complexifying. while still keeping part of the origin intact. fractal art that feeds into itself, allowing the past to be part of both present and future. not unlike the dynamics of time.
and time, like any number needing an unchangeable, invisible zero as its relative origin point, any content needing a container, all sounds needing the one silence, time itself needs timelessness. which constitutes the black space enveloping my creations. always there. forever unchanged.
